Use the Clinic Visits module to record visits by an employee to the health clinic including the reasons, the medical condition, the treatment provided (and associated costs) and the outcome. Clinic Visits also retains information such as the health center, the attending practitioner, the chief complaint, length of the visit, the disposition following the visit, vitals information, and details of workplace incidents.
This module is linked with the Case Management, Incident, and Body Fluid Exposure modules making the information from all four modules accessible from a single entry point.
The Visit Reason field can be associated with any of the medical modules to standardize procedures or treatment templates. For example, if an annual physical examination includes audiometric testing, blood work and a wellness questionnaire, then the specific forms and/or activities for the three related modules can be accessed directly from within the Clinic Visits module.
This chapter explains how to:
enter details about a clinic visit (see Entering Details of a Clinic Visit)
initiate incident reports and case management (see Reporting an Incident and Managing Cases)
complete a report summarizing an employee’s work restrictions (see Completing the Duty Disposition Report)
complete the Medical DOT Exam Report (see Completing the Medical DOT Exam Report)
schedule activities related to clinic visits (see Scheduling Clinic Visit Activities).
