Sample results can be imported from a .csv file. For information about importing laboratory results, see Entering Laboratory Results.
There is a unique import template for each module.
To obtain the correct template, in either the Monitoring or Noise Monitoring list, choose Actions»Download Import File Template.
Enter and save data in the template. The fields within the template provide field-by-field guidance regarding what data is allowed in each field. Some fields are linked to corresponding look-up tables for easy selection.
Save file as .csv.
If you do not know an employee's ID, you can provide the first name, last name, gender, and date of birth in the template instead. This information will be used to find the employee's ID in Cority.
For Monitoring sample imports, instead of entering agents separately, you can select the Agent Group (from the IHAgentGroup look-up table). The Agent tab/sublist for the corresponding sample record will be populated with a record for each agent in the group.
In the Monitoring or Noise Monitoring list, choose Actions»Import Samples.
Click Browse to locate the file.
Select the Date Format used within dataset present within the import samples template. Any records that have dates that do not match the specified Date Format will be rejected.
Indicate if you want to update any existing records, and if you want new values automatically added to look-up tables.
The Administrator should restrict who has rights to select the Add to Look-Up Tables check box by including the following prohibited action on user roles: genericimport.allowcreationofnewbasetablerecords. For more information, see Setting Up Roles.
Click Import to add the sample results to the monitoring record. Once the file is imported, a pop-up will advise whether the import was successful and how many records were imported.
To see the details of the import and any errors, choose Actions»Process Status and Log. Once any errors have been corrected, choose Actions»Reprocess.
