Use the Training module to store information about courses (including training employees in the use of respirators), legislative or other reference, owners and trainers. In this module, you can schedule courses, and record the attendees, their training requirements and their success in the course. You can also generate individual letters and certificates to each attendee. Information captured includes:
session types
course subject matter
date
specific occupational need
department requesting the session
number of attendees.
For organizations wishing to recover the costs of providing training programs, the session screen permits the entry of preparation hours, travel/accommodations, presentation times, number of classes presented per day, and hand-out materials, etc. Training course can also be entered in a short entry form for ease of entry, especially for employees taking off-site courses.
This module is tied into the Appointments/Scheduling module for automatic recall of employees based on certification requirements and/or medical surveillance programs. Reports are available to indicate who is due or overdue for sessions as well as whether they have been scheduled for courses.
Recalls are based on the Attended Date. If the Attended Date is not populated, it will be set to the Course Date.
