About the Equipment Module

Use the Equipment module to store and track all types of equipment used by all modules in Cority, such as audiometers, spirometers, respirators, hearing protection, sampling equipment, ventilation hoods, lasers, ionizing radiation sources, tanks, boilers, combustion sources, etc. The module inventories and tracks equipment by demographic location and tracks calibration and maintenance activity.

The Equipment module is available in each suite’s menu (“Asset Management” in the Environmental menu), but the list will be filtered to only show equipment that is related to that suite (unless you change views to view all equipment).

The Asset Management module in the Emissions Inventory suite is described separately, in the Emissions Inventory chapter (see Recording Assets).

Equipment records may be grouped (in the EquipmentGroup look-up table) so that they can be assigned to an inspection record together.
