Click New.
Select the Protocol, and enter the Start Date.
Optionally, enter the End Date when this protocol is expected to be entirely in effect.
If the employee exposed chose not to follow the protocol, select the Reason.
Click Save.
Use the Protocol tab of the Body Fluid Exposure record to identify recommended protocols that should be put into effect as a result of this exposure incident.
Click New.
Select the Protocol, and enter the Start Date.
